Night shop takeoff

RoughRun

Seat-true pipe takeoff. Stack the run the way it sits on the wall. Cut length includes the cup.

From the wall

The cup swallows length you cannot see

Open a route, then lay straight cuts, elbows, and tees in the order they hang. Takeoff writes the stick. Spec rolls the buy list.

Stack straight cuts, elbows, tees, couplings, and adapters the way they sit from the boiler to the last valve.

Trace — the wall

A face-to-face gap is shorter than the stick you cut. RoughRun adds the seat at each end. A center-to-center drawing subtracts the fitting face, then adds that seat back.

Takeoff — the cup

Couplings, elbows, tees, adapters, and reducers roll up next to stick counts. Share the spec before anyone drives to the yard.

Spec — the buyer

Socket depth and center-to-face for the fittings you actually buy. The fitting in your hand wins if the numbers disagree.

Empty wall, then a mapped loop

Welcome names the order. Trace draws Cedar boiler loop to scale. Spec turns those cuts into sticks and fittings you can share.
